I think blogs will be dead after 2-3 years, when the Internet will be totally controled by cyberbrains at last.
And the languages except English will begin to extinct in the next 30-70 years as well.

Well, Yaroslav, I fully agree with the second of your declarations. Of course, many languages have died, and more will die out in following years. At the global level will continue to dominate English, at regional levels: Chinese, Spanish (in Latin America), and possibly several more.
ReplyDeleteBut in the question “the death of blogging” - I have many doubts. In my opinion - the opposite, in the coming years will only increase the role of bloggers, most of all - in the news bulletins, advertising, promotion and PR. Already, major newspapers have quoted the bloggers, they employ the PR-agency and individual companies. In cases of armed and social conflicts, as well as various disasters - information from blogs can be even quicker and truer of journalist’s news.
Maybe your prophecy refers only any kinds of blogs? What kinds? And what is the antagonism between bloggers and futures potential cyberbrains?
Ok, let us see lol.
ReplyDeleteI think blogging is part of Web 2.0 in general, and Web 2.0 will be replaced with Web 3.0 soon, this will be a new type of the Internet communication.
